I know most of you here will burn me for using iPhone. I have my reasons using iPhone and I’m not planning to switch to android anytime soon. For those who are ok with that and are into tech 👇 iPhone 13 Pro → iPhone 16 Pro: Is It Worth the Upgrade? I’m contemplating whether I should upgrade my iPhone this year. I’d love to hear your honest opinions: should I upgrade or not? Here’s what’s currently “broken” on my iPhone 13 Pro: - **Battery**: It’s at 83% capacity, so I’m struggling to get through a full day without charging. - **Display**: There are some deep scratches that affect visibility and overall experience. - **Lightning Port**: It’s completely dead, so I can’t charge via cable or connect to any accessories. Given these issues, do you think upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro is worth it, or should I hold off? Let me know your thoughts!

Who cares if someone doesn’t like that you use iPhone? I use the iPhone 14 Pro and actually just upgraded to it about a month ago from the iPhone 11. Been Apple for much of my adult life. Still am and I’m not planning to change anytime soon. As for upgrading, your 13 seems like it has quite a few battle scars. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s more if the issues cause you problems. I assume you don’t have AppleCare. Apple does like to make it so not carrying AppleCare means you have to pay exorbitant rates to get your device fixed. Also they’re pretty well against right to repair so they make it financially painful for people not to buy AppleCare. It’s not a perfect situation. Anyway, does the 16 offer you something you want that is not available to you now? What about upgrading to a 15? You’ll have to run the cost benefit analysis for your situation to see if it makes sense. There’s plenty of value to be realized in used devices so don’t discount it. For instance, I bought this IPhone 14 Pro and it came with AppleCare. Now I don’t have to worry that it has scratches on the screen or whatever. Apple will replace it if needed.

With these "bugs"? Yes. You will have better specs. With apple buy back will be iPhone 16 Pro cheaper about some thousand czk. I have 13 mini, but I am using this phone only for banks apps. I dont need upgrade. In these times there are not small phones.

For me only interesting feature is Apple Intelligence, but it is currently too much constrained for paying price of the new model. I will probably keep my strategy of buying top models (Pro, 256 GB) second hand - after year or two they sell it for a significantly lower price.
