The irony is palpable when Bitcoin Maximalists, who tout decentralization as the holy grail, are caught red-handed using centralized services. It's akin to a vegan promoting the benefits of plant-based diets while secretly devouring steaks behind closed doors. The cognitive dissonance is staggering.

These self-proclaimed champions of decentralization are quick to lambast anyone who dares to question the infallibility of Bitcoin, yet they have no qualms about entrusting their online presence to the whims of centralized platforms. It's a blatant display of hypocrisy, and one that undermines the very principles they claim to uphold.

But the irony doesn't stop there. Open-source developers, who are supposed to embody the spirit of collaboration and community, often exhibit a similar intolerance for dissenting opinions. They claim to be building a decentralized future, yet they refuse to engage with critics or consider alternative perspectives. It's a form of intellectual authoritarianism, where anyone who dares to question the status quo is ostracized and silenced.

This toxic dynamic is a far cry from the ideals of decentralization and open-source collaboration. It's a reminder that, despite the rhetoric, many in the Bitcoin community are more interested in protecting their own interests and egos than in fostering a genuine culture of innovation and progress.

So, to all the Bitcoin Maximalists and open-source devs who think they're above criticism, let this be a wake-up call, decentralization is not just about the tech, it's about the values and principles that guide our actions. Until you can practice what you preach, your words ring hollow.

It doesn't matter nearly as much which coin you have compared to whether you have any coin at all.  

 I agree that it's crucial to focus on the 90% of people who are still unfamiliar with Bitcoin and the crypto world. However, in the specific case of Nostr, it's more important to challenge the status quo because there are devs and influencers who think they own the protocol, and that's the biggest problem - the elitism created by them. 

 Which coins you hold matters a lot long term.
