um, lol. https://m.primal.net/JkJU.jpg
There's a lot of hard truths in this image.
Some people want to change the world and are in Bitcoin for the revolution. nostr:nevent1qqsqyjm9h9sf2w03fnzfqzfkvfxdskawje3cfsetq5r9fvqy7l23xeqprdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68yurvv438xtnrdakj7q3qym56klev354vx7gr47gtu2s6aahj4j7kn860ykw243adx0fqqrqsxpqqqqqqzgr5lj5
Beautiful. Suit conference exposed. nostr:nevent1qqsqyjm9h9sf2w03fnzfqzfkvfxdskawje3cfsetq5r9fvqy7l23xeqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qgszd6dt0ukg62kr0yp6ly979gdw7me2e0tfna8jt892c7kn85sqpsgrqsqqqqqpa7hvrl
That's pathetic.
That's just fantastic https://media.tenor.com/p2M-4gFmwGcAAAAM/ufm.gif
David Bailey is anti-Bitcoin.
To play devil's advocate, Bitcoin 2024 probably attracted a lot more curious non bitcoin enthusiast types who didn't have as much sats to spend or are more likely to use fiat for various reasons. That said, it's still says a lot about BTC mag's focus.
@AVERAGE_GARY looks like you need to bring the Virginia Freedom Tech roadshow international to these other conferences!
I sold out of two inventory items and all except two transactions were sats. I'm good. 😄
So glad I bailed on that conference. Technical conference only for me going forward. In the end it became a stereotype of what critics say about the space. Too much grifter vibe. Looking at that chart it confirms it. Those posters asking 60k for a photo define it now not stuff like open source stage.
