as a “normie” that got into btc and nostr, i strongly disagree with this post. 
most people don’t know they can be self sovereign, especially in technology, since it has been a handout for the majority of the world. most people don’t have to learn how technology and money work in order to use it, so it makes sense why “self sovereignty” isn’t in their vocabulary. 
we don’t have to be saviors to these people, we just have to share our knowledge.
