Now I understand the historic nature of the enmity between Poland and Russia.

I remember the Solidarity movement and Lech Walesa.

This is not that time, or that thing. 

Ukraine became a puppet state in 2014 and ceased being sovereign.

USA/NATO gained the Kiev Government, Russia gained Crimea.

It's already carved.
