network security in new times when all or most workers are working from home is more complicated

previously one could set policies for local office network

but now individual VPN channels needed to grant access to every worker that needs access to given service

so more pain in the ass

in other words: VPN nowadays getting more sophisticated not because of stupid nentflix or local TV watching but because increasing enterprise requirements
