One of the iOS 17 APIs I was most looking forward to was to receive direct input from Volume Button presses.

After trying to find any information about it at WWDC, I was just told more info would come later this year, and I assumed it related to the 15 Pro’s Action Button.

But there’s still no sign of that API, and so the janky workarounds remain.
