Noted mathematician Paul Erdos' generous spirit and charitable nature have been highlighted in a story shared by his friend, Graham. Erdos lent $1,000 to a promising young mathematician to help him attend Harvard, but instead of expecting repayment, he suggested the young man do with the money what he did - give it away to those in need.
