Odd Lots podcast about energy usage of AI datacenters. 

I don’t understand how one could do this podcast and get worked up about AI datacenter loads, but not mention a few very relevant things. 

1. I don’t have the numbers but I’m pretty sure that electric vehicles are/will be a vastly greater use of electricity

2. Lots of talk of flexible loads, even a mention of “virtual power plant”, but zero mention of #bitcoin. 0. They even talk about “how can we incentivize electrical utilities to build out electrical generation before a buyer exists”. Gosh the answer is right there. 

My bet the #BTC market top occurs right at the moment that Tracey gets over her irrational fear of mean Bitcoin maximalists and becomes “interested in bitcoin’s potential”
