I always thought that Substack and other subscription services  were too rigid as channel specific and potentially price people out. If I find 10 people content I enjoy equally, it might be nice to have a personal profile option that says “pay x amount per month divided by my selected channels equally”. 

If someone can afford 30 bucks per month for subscriptions, instead of having to choose say 3 at 10 each, they can choose 7 or something that they really like.
