There's a big debate forming on the nostr.
There are a lot of bitcoiners here who love to post and consume bitcoin content. In my opinion the bitcoin culture on nostr is its greatest strength. 🧡
There are also a lot of people here who are not as interested in bitcoin and want to expand the conversation so that nostr is more welcoming.
Personally, I'm not interested in being told what is appropriate to talk about or what is bad for nostr. I came here expressly to say what I want, when I want. 💜
If you want to see something else, feel free to post that. If you don't like what I am posting, no one is forcing you to read it. 🫂
Other people will have different opinions, but I'm not interested in attracting non bitcoiners to nostr. I'm interested in seeing the synergy between bitcoin and nostr become so powerful that neither can be ignored or avoided.
In my opinion that's where we are inevitably headed.

Well. It seems to be quite an unnecessary discussion, because the good thing with Nostr, actually the only advantage about it, is that it not possible to keep people you don’t like out of the protocol.
So what’s your point? That you would like only bitcoiners to discuss bitcoin and Nostr things on Nostr? Strange in that case. But I’m open to the possibility that I am mistaken🤷
I suppose my main point is that I won't tell people what to discuss on nostr and would prefer not to be told what to discuss either 🤙

Yeah, people today are used today to treat bitcoiners as creepy people. It's programmed in their head and culture. Maybe the problem they're referring to is content richness and diversity, that will improve in the future. Another reason to explain their complaints can be that certain part of them are chronic complainers. We can' and should do nothing about that 🤷
I personally like that people share things about Bitcoin here because I seldom have something to talk with others in the physical world that I consider engaging or interesting (It's not intended to offend anyone, I simply have my own preferences)
