I doubt I'll ever be over it. I've quit before, once for 4 years, I think.

I didn't gain much weight, maybe a few pounds - but I am mostly carnivore. I did give myself permission to be a little more sloppy with diet choices, not care about intermittent fasting, caffeine, dairy (definitely had more cheese than usual).

You can fix the weight later. Give yourself another couple weeks to get as over the nicotine as you can, then start on other healthy habits. Like cut out food from boxes, or seed oils, whatever you want to start with.

The goal isn't weight loss, it is always better enjoyment of life - that starts with feeling better. Withdrawal is the opposite of that.
