A couple weeks ago, news broke that Linux had a (very) bad dev who wrote malicious code, went undetected for 11 yrs, + was slowly taking over Linux systems, only to be discovered by chance by an inquisitive Microsoft employee...

Now, *THAT* is playing the long game... seems pretty important for FOSS + the technological terrain we're all finding ourselves on, tech-savvy or not
