Have you ever written about an ex-partner?

Woodspell's MC is a domestic violence survivor. Part of her journey is overcoming the emotional fallout, particularly the rage.  Her ex is the scariest antagonist in the trilogy & based on mine, although he's a composite, because, in the small town I left, I knew too many other women going through similar abuse. I wanted to create a hero women like me could relate to, maybe help them find their own power.
