Heaps of treachery in Bitcoin, you just need to have the perspective to spot it. Any asset that has the ability to shift culture is going to involve cabals, intel agencies, prospectors and clueless blind dogmatic followers. 

The rise of the bitcoin-dollar is no different than the petro-dollar. Corrupt and greed are the new norm. Take Saylor for example. "Bitcoin is a dead asset without yield". 

Will Bitcoin make its holders wealthy? High probability. Will Bitcoin create a financial system based upon meritocracy and egalitarianism? Zero fucking chance. 

Not really worried though, I've got my entry ticket and been happily on the ride for years.
