I noticed I judge less viscous laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, etc as lower quality. I don’t know if that’s a fair heuristic. It ‘feels’ right intuitively but the viscosity shouldn’t actually affect the cleaning power 🤔
I've really enjoyed the detergent sheets that are like foam board. They're perfect for traveling and consequently the viscosity becomes somewhat irrelevant.
Good idea. Would be smart to carry one or two in my normal travel stuff just in case
I think it is true and untrue just like with yogurt. Generally thicker yogurt is better because it was fermented longer, but knowing this, cheap yogurt makers add thickeners. With soaps, in theory, thicker soap has more soap and less water, so it is better. Cheap soap manufacturers add cheap chemical thickeners to make poor soap seem like high quality soap. At this point, I don't think it means much.
