 yes, it all depends on the conceptualization of god

for many people the subject is laden with a lot of trauma, like i'm very wary of "oh god exists, so everything in <pick holy book> is true and we all need to dogmatically follow that, no matter the consequences, and stop being curious about this world at all"
i have some intuition of what "good" means and it is not that

but more abstract conceptualizations might make sense, like how process philosophers such as Whitehead end up with some concept of god that's wayy different from what's commonly thought of, i dunno... i think the whole subject is inherently unknowable and mysterious
