Still taking in all the photos of NYC flooding yesterday after a "routine" rain event (i.e. not a hurricane). I lived in NYC for Irene and Sandy. One of many factors in deciding to move to CA when offered a job here was regional leaders' foot-dragging on fixing the (already ailing) transit infrastructure before & after Sandy. #ClimateDiary
