Are you talking about using your own electrum server and mempool viewer? If so yes I always point my wallets to my home server where possible. Had the samourai servers running but since they got shut down I deleted those apps. Mostly because future updates are questionable. Shame really I love Sentinel Wallet. It was a complete offline solution.  Great for disasters where you can hand someone a signed transaction for payment that they can broadcast immediately through their highly connected business, sms, or starlink. Like handing over a check in the old days.
