I may have overgeneralized, but owning guns is much more difficult in the EU than in the USA.
You don't need a gun to protect yourself. You need good opsec, being humble and perhaps not wear your wealth around your neck in form of a Ledger. I've travelled for most of my life. I've lived in many countries and I've experienced some tough situations. Not having a gun handy was never a problem. Though I do know some Aikido and Muay Thai, I rarely hat to apply the knowledge.
