a Palestinian doctor named Said Abdulrahman Maarouf described his ordeal of detention by Israeli forces in Gaza. He was working at al-Ahli al-Arab hospital in Gaza City when it was surrounded by Israeli forces in December. During his 45 days of captivity, he experienced abuse, including sleep deprivation, constant shackling, and blindfolding.
