Mostly it was just a matter of remembering what went under what, and trying to achieve that look with my carving. And scaling the image so that the curves matched gouges that I had around so I wasn’t forced to freehand the curves.

I’ll have a writeup once the bench is done, but this was about three mornings (2-4 hours each) of work total.
