I thought this was targeted to social media managers, which would benefit the most from such a tool and would probably pay for it. 

 everyone already uses multiple columns, they are just hidden behind toolbars on mobile. 

 Will is going to make me buy a dedicated tablet so that I can use Notedeck from my couch.

 This looks really good - I might give damus a try when I get another tablet - I'm perfectly happy with Amethyst on mobile atm. I like the separate feeds bit too, very slick. Be nice if one could bring in my fountain acc, or wavlake playlists or similar, even flare (though that gives me grief on mobile).
