It happened this month at the Dukla Pass, where events were held to mark the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian-Dukla military operation, the Slovak prime minister told the Štandard publication.

In the visitors' area, a man was found with a loaded pistol at a metal detector. Fico suggested that the reason for the assassination attempt could have been his position on Ukraine.
