Who is the friendly local El Salvador travel agent here on #nostr? I’m wanting to take a trip but hoping for some insights. #elsalvador #travel #asknostr #vacation
Hi db, I’m not a travel agent, but I can help :) When are you going to El Salvador?
The when part hasn’t been decided yet. I’m looking for recommendations for a nice resort, something wheelchair accessible.
Do you want to be most of the time in the city, at the beach, mountains? I’ll arrive in 2 weeks and will keep my eyes open for wheelchair accesible places I go! We can DM if you want :)
Looking to experience El Salvador, so a little of each. Mostly looking for a nice resort that is accessible to call a base camp. That’s very nice of you, fellow nostriches are so helpful. The NOSTR web of trust is more valuable than reviews from random people on random sites to me. Thanks bud!
I travel back and forth. Not an agent but familiar with cost and can probably offer advice if you have general questions 🧡🍻👊🏻
Do you have any recommendations for a couple of nice resorts? I’ve never been and was hoping to gather some thoughts on decent places to stay, things to do/see etc.
Sure do. Kids? Just you? Beach? Volcano hike?
I think four of us, the kicker is that one of us is in a wheelchair. Hoping for some accessible accommodations.
3rd world is always going to be challenging with wheelchair access but Id really recommend going to the Volcano lake near Santa Ana. It was the hallmark of my trip. Its like 2 hours NW of the Airport. You can stay there and find lots to do for several days. Look on travel sites and see the pictures. Wake up with a volcano outside your window and a lake. —Book early to get the rooms with views.— Amazing. Other highlights were El Tunco - beach The cathedral in San Salvador.
