 I like the story of the stoic philosopher who, when told that his son had been killed in battle, replied: "I never thought I had given birth to an immortal." 
 My favorite story is that Marcus Aurelius was the Roman emperor at roughly the same time when Epiktet was a Roman slave and they both basically wrote the exact same things. 
 Humility is an admirable quality, but do you lose it (if you ever had it) the moment you claim to be humble? 🤔
