Amy Hwang (FT) sums up in a cartoon what I was already hearing from my #students some years ago... there is a great desire (not surprisingly) for meaningful secure work.... who'd have thought?

That they also need a good wage to survive in modern society, is not as the FT has it 'wishful thinking' but rather a not unreasonable hope for what has sometimes be referred to as 'good work'!
