"TikTok has all that great creativity," Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) says at an Axios event (at a lovely rooftop bar next to Yards Park in D.C.). "I just wish it were not on a platform that could be controlled by the CCP." 

He says he still hopes his RESTRICT Act, which would let the Commerce Secretary ban certain transactions with tech platforms linked to defined foreign adversaries, can be tweaked to address concerns and ensure no American would "fall awry of the law."
