Oddbean new post about login | logout I’ve been looking into new podcast apps from the show notes. Very confusing. Please help. I’m currently using Overcast on the iPhone. What I need is an app that can automatically download latest episodes (Fountain does that) AND the ability to play the latest episodes in a playlist. Automagically. For example, I want to have a playlist “News” that automatically includes and downloads the latest briefings from Fox, NPR, WSJ, ABC, Bloomberg, etc. Recommendations? Thank you.
@80bd1492 Podverse appears to support playlists, never used the feature. Seems it allows me to make playlist of podcasts. Doesn’t seem to allow rss fed ones into a playlists though. @80bd1492 Probably keep using Overcast for those podcasts assuming it works for them. They aren't using any new podcasting2.0 features anyways. Then get a second (and maybe third) app for trying out podcasts that support the new stuff.
