Cool. I started applying to IT helpdesk jobs, I have a Google IT Technician certificate, but everyone wants CompTia A+. I began studying for that, but it was boring so now I'm studying security plus sense I already have much of the background knowledge it requires. 

 I just got my Security+ earlier this year, good luck!

 I used a course on Udemy and did a lot of practice tests. I didn't end up getting a directly security-related job but it was a plus on my resume for sure
