@primal @miljan do we have to pay for the advanced search and saving it as feeds? It seems to work when I tried just now but the messaging is confusing. In primal premium section it seems like advanced search is a paid feature. And at the bottom of the search results it says that advanced search is paid. I’m a bit confused by this
Hello, great questions. Currently, as a non-premium user you will be able to use advanced search and receive a maximum of 20 results. Premium advanced search has an unlimited amount of results per search. All users will be able to save their advanced search feeds, but non-premium users will be limited to 20 results in their feeds. Ah I get it. For those who want to use the advanced search as a custom feed for friends, a paid account is needed. Another question for you: how do I find out what’s the address associated to my primal wallet? Currently it shows the address I use on Damus. I haven’t tried Primal in a long time
Best way to find your primal lightning address would be to access your the Primal Wallet and hit the “Receive” button. In there you’ll have two options, your lightning address and your btc on-chain address. Lmk if you need more help finding it

Battery definitely goes down quick with nostr. Luckily I always have an external battery or a charging canle nearby 🐸

Primal is fine. I prefer Damus but have both. Those are the only two I’ve played with. User experience is much much better on Damus but I haven’t used Primal in a minute so maybe it’s better now.
I wonder if the primal ios app lets you use a different wallet than the primal built in wallet though. Rhat was an issue I had before
On android we have the option to connect our own wallet so I’ve done mini bits and or alby through NWC. I also hate the KYC crap
If I have to zap with their kyc wallet, the advanced search might be supreme but I still need something more sovereign like Damus
Agreed, i won’t be using their kyc wallet I am asking them to implement list support, to me that would be the best way to handle having a group of friends etc… search is nice but amethyst does it the best atm
Unfortunately due to iOS regulations we are unable to offer support for NWC on our iOS app. The only option for NWC with Primal is through the Web app through an extension or with Android.

2.0 was an improvement, I’ve been using amethyst because primal was too slow on android … But now I’m missing notes on amethyst, keeps getting slower so primal may be better I’ve used Damus on the iPad and agree that’s a nice experience (outside of the zapping and no list support)
From what I’ve tried so far, not sure if it’s a demo or free for a limited time but the avanced search is amazing. Super fast. Very easy to use and add npubs to the search criterias
