I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you have a frozen piece of steak and you don’t want to wait for it to thaw out, you can throw it in an air fryer and it’ll come out great.
*if one has an air fryer *and if one doesn't mind superheated air baking off really nasty chemicals from the petroleum plastics that most air fryers are made from.
I heard something about heavy metal exposure from the power cords in air fryers is pretty bad…
Damnit I loved my air fryer
Are you chewing on the cord? No? That's not something I'd worry about much.
Something about the insulation on the cords, getting hot and releasing heavy metals into the cooking chamber on the foods if I recall correctly?
The first air fryer I ever used made the food taste weird. Like the smell of the air fryer stayed on the food and I guess maybe that’s what caused that. The one I have now doesn’t do that though. Maybe the improved that design flaw?
Are there stainless steel air fryers?
inb4 triggered cast iron and stainless steel maximalists
I'm a flat-stone-over-open-fire maximalist and everyone else is wrong.
Honestly, I might do that once I build my own house. Though, I think eggs will still be easier to cook in a metallic pan...
Nice. The only reason I know about this is because I saw a video of a guy making eggs and sausage on a rock. He melted some butter on it and the eggs didn't stick at all. It was pretty magical.
What type(s) of stone? Basalt?
I don't know. I'm very uncultured when it comes to rocks.
Stoneware is slept on, it’s the best for baking a lot of things
I feel like I really hit on something here. Not to mention pizzas and other breads turn out great on stone.
