Set up my Aunt’s Samsung dryer recently. It had WiFi, and she thought the app was cool. 

It immediately tried to update firmware, failed, and bricked her dryer. 

Took me hours online and some guesswork to figure out how to force the thing to reset or whatever. I hate modernity.
