People absorb information from screens all day and end up concerned about stuff. Most things you see on the screen you don't know if its real, framed or altered in a particular way or nowadays flat out fabricated. If it's real, it's all mostly stuff you cant do fuck all about most of the time and or is genuinely forgotten about in a few days weeks etc anyway. Why spend time and energy on concerning your self with something represented by pixels you usually cant do anything about when you can be focusing more on action with people around you making a better world there.
Why are your immediate surroundings supposed to matter more than anywhere else? Makes no sense
Because that is that person's sphere of control.
No, your whole point was about separating the sphere of control from some sphere of physical distance So again, what the fuck are you talking about?
Thank you, for sharing your perspective and worldview and asking questions. I live in a Global Village. I am also nomadic which means the people around me are either not here or they are transient. The people I care about I connect with through pixelated forms of communication. Also, you seem to define digital world in pixelated form.. but the way I've seen reality through quantum lens it is all pretty pixelated. Anyways, I get a defeatist attitude from your comment not that kine wasn't. I do believe we can do a lot about the state of the world and I also believe we have influence even when interacting through screens and digital devices. We are still connecting, we are still interacting and in communion with life.
Also, maybe it would be more accurate to say disassociative than defeatist. Also, I feel like you are assuming why I shared this note or what it was provoked. How do you know I didn't go downstairs of the apartment building I may have just been straight into SF master street? Anytime I've found myself there I can't help but feel deeply concerned.
