When Rishi Sunak says he's on your side, what he means is that he's going to cancel loads of public transport projects, forcing more cars on to the roads and making all your journeys even more congested and miserable than they already are.

You'll be stuck in a traffic jam, but, please, do enjoy the freedom Sunak has given to you.

 @74d39ae2 @0c1a9324 That argument won’t work on gammon with a crabs-in-a-bucket mentality (i.e. 52% of the country), as on one hand, traffic will be hell, but on the other hand, all the smug elites who’d otherwise be cycling or taking trains will be stuck in hell with you.
