Pope Francis has said that Israel’s attacks in Gaza should be investigated to determine if they meet the legal definition of genocide, according to excerpts from a forthcoming book based on interviews with the pontiff.

Francis has privately used the word “genocide” to describe Israel’s actions, according to people who have interacted with him, The Washington Post has reported. But his comments to the journalist Hernán Reyes Alcaide, excerpted Sunday in the Italian newspaper La Stampa, are the first time he has publicly called for an investigation.

 Israel will stop once their enemies are defeated, not before that. If innocent people are dying, that’s tragic, and horrific, and Hamas is 100% to blame. 

 80% of the hostages freed were tnks to diplomacy, Israel government is waging the decimation of plebs to keep Bibi out of jail, sorry we will disagree on this one  

 Hamas is fighting an unwinnable war with a much bigger, much more powerful opponent. They are choosing to hide in civilian areas. A ceasefire as possible with a 100% liberation of innocent hostages, and their complete surrender. 

 The deal was is the table couple of times, Bibi didn't sign, they're chosing to keep this going is beneficial for Bibi to avoid jail  

 I genuinely mean no hostility in my approach at this subject from the other side… I’m merely trying to understand it better. 

I was under the impression that Hamas didn’t offer complete surrender and return of all hostages. When the deal fell apart, they executed hostages, and Israel began getting sneakier and intensifying their pursuit of complete Hamas annihilation.
