Except we don't give a shit about Twitter/Xitter, so better continue to do our thing and inovate while ignoring Twitter, X or whatever they want to call it. I have the feeling X will end up a dead website like Facebook Meta shit, with AI talking to each other to farm click from kids, old people and stupid scrolling zombies.

Sure LinkedIn is also on the way but there is still some real content in some business, but I mostly hate LinkedIn and dream of the day I don't need to maintain it just to keep my chances in the job market, free from my fiat job, free from this shit show. Google is much more complex, they offer uniques services (basically Google maps and Android) that are super hard to replace, but the price we pay for it is also huge in term of personal data given away. So I hope we can achieve our independance from Google for more than niche people but I don't see it coming soon unfortunatelly. p2p is how internet was supposed to be, but it turns out most people are not able to think this way, not able to maintain their device propelly, not able to manage password and acces securely. They get used to have everything brought to them and that it magically works immediatly and when it don't, mostly because they fucked up something, they want to click a button or chat with somene (a bot) to solve their issue within minute. Good luck shifting this mentality, educate back and give back control to the masses, they are not ready for it because they have no time for that, and they have no time because they are trap in fiat jobs and trap using apps that suck up all their remaing free time they have, which is accepted because anyway their remaing energy is so low to do anything more complex. Hopefully Bitcoin can free up more and more to slowely get their on the long term.

About the udp-p2p-fix to fix the internet will probably require a network adapter (WireGuard-plugin) to work properly. The way it had been done in #nostr now is only waiting until the Feds step in and start KYC the servers and subsequent the users.

Haven't we been branded enough (I heard a cow say branding is more painful then tattoos,. . in then there is rebranding) .. call them farts or in the name of freedom, have clients be able to name them anything they want.. Personally might be farts or turds depending on the post.

'Tweet' was always a cringe-inducingly stupid verb; you just got used to it. 'Notes' is pretty good, admittedly it's a bit bland and generic, but it's fine; 'nostr' is already distinctive enough and it ties into that. Just thank your lucky stars you didn't get into mastodon because they tried to popularize 'toot' 😄

Ostrich make more of a “booming” sound versus a smaller bird’s chirp or tweet. But “booming” a message doesn’t seem right. “Did you see that boom from Hodlbod today?” Nope, doesnt sound right.
