our physical form is emergent from some base reality and our consciousness is emergent through (not of) the physical form so I would say that reality and truth are potentially the boundary conditions with which our physical and mental model must contend. If the models are too misaligned with base reality then some part of the models predictive capacity will diminish. eventually, if unchecked there will be a crash of some sort.
