Yeah it's fucking stupid but people do it.  Imagine all of that shit, the restaurants, the music venues, the boutiques with the cool vintage stuff, the bars and clubs all just closed and you were just left in your box with not a whole lot of food and you are surrounded by strangers on all sides and you don't even know if they are potentially hostile.

Because that was only a few years ago and a lot of people are still not leaving the cities because they are addicted to the stimuli and think you're uncultured and dumb if you don't love the hustle and bustle.

Oh also the drugs, I forgot the drugs aspect of the cities.  You can get drugs delivered to your door.  Every night can be a new bathroom you've never done coke in before.  That's what I call living.
