yes i noticed the same. I think it's because technology gives them things meaning ppl do not understand how things actually happen in real life.

Nobody understands electricity, or how food ends up in their plate. they don't need to understand anything because they can just tap their phone and everything is fixed.

Also algotrythms made by a few, shape peoples thinking more thsn you could ever imagine.

So people are dumb because they don't need to be smart. <--- this is the only reason i can think of
