 I knew I was setting myself up for that. it's just not in line with my long term fitness goals. I started running to improve my cardio/endurance for jiu jitsu. I'm at a place now that it's never an issue when I play bjj. doing an ultra isn't going to help my game much more. 
 Ha.  Love BJJ but don’t do it any more due to an accumulation of age and injuries.  Ultras are a different beast.  Feels like a recipe for serious long term injuries. 
 too much repetitive motion. I'd rather work towards getting a black belt
