Google Introduces OpenAI-compatible API for Gemini, Aiming to Ease Transition for Developers
Google has launched a new endpoint for its Gemini API that allows developers using OpenAI's Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to switch to Gemini more easily. The new endpoint is still in beta and provides partial coverage of OpenAI capabilities, including the Chat Completions API and Embeddings API. However, image upload and structured output have limited support at this time.
