I was trying to find a link from a conversation i had from 5 days ago. I remember it was about navigation so i searched that and got a result right away. This would have been very difficult to find without local search.
Local search is distinct from global search which could be very noisy and busy and have notes from people not in your social graph. Local only searches notes you’ve seen, which is more powerful that global search in some cases. It doesn’t require internet access and is much more private.
