Similar to NostResume, grant foundations such as nostr:nprofile1qqs8suecw4luyht9ekff89x4uacneapk8r5dyk0gmn6uwwurf6u9rusdepqk6 could significantly lower the time it takes to sift through applicants with a WoT-based application system.

Nostr client that:

1. Allows anyone to add a project that they wish to get funded.
2. Displays relevant links and or shows your github activity if developer
3. Option to reveal funding amount, or keep it open (let the foundation find the right project, and then discuss funding amounts)
4. Foundation benefits by narrowing down candidates based on WoT, OR other filter criteria (doesn’t need to be wot-based).
5. This process creates transparency, and people can see what’s being applied for, and not have to duplicate the same requests. If there are 10 applications to build YET ANOTHER twitter clone, applicant can see that perhaps it’s a waste of time, and propose something else.

This could be merged with NostResume somehow so that info is readily available

What this accomplishes:

1. Transparency to the process
2. Saves time sifting through many applications
3. Clarity regarding what type of projects are getting funded
4. Clarity regarding desired level of PoW sought by the funding committee

Thoughts?
Add the ability for a complete 'unknown' to be sponsored using someone's WoT if they think the idea has legs.

Let's say I run across an idea (like nostResumes) but Karange has a very low WoT score because he's new. I love the idea so I make the decision to 'sponsor' Karnage's application to Open Sats using my WoT score.

If Karnage scams OS then my WoT takes a hit because I was the sponsor (skin in the game). If his project goes nowhere but he didn't scam OS my WoT remains unaffected. If it's a huge hit maybe my WoT gets a bump?
You can do It but It increase the work, they are already struggling
