Too many phones have been lost to wax and lint in the charging slot. Plebs if your phone charges slower, cables that work on other phones suddenly stop working on your phones, or if pointing the charging wire at weird angles makes them work. You need to clean your charging slot, your phone is probably perfectly fine.
