I want things to make sense and there's never any reason racism does. So I can list all the ways it's not logical but that doesn't matter when it too conveniently serves too many narratives for people who have no interest in rationalizing their attitudes. And are often, in fact, trained to exalt the irrational as an ultimate and unquestioned authority.
