I think it can be disrespectful or not. My wife is proud of our sex life and sometimes makes supporting provocative comments in public social settings regarding her satisfaction. I enjoy knowing that she is pleased. While I’m sure I have shortcomings as well, I think that discussions regarding shortcomings should be inquisitive and geared toward solutions rather than mean spirited complaining. When you love someone you look for approaches to solutions for problems from diverse peers, not shame for the person you love from those peers.
