I wouldn’t have hesitated to remove that hammer from his hand and then remove the boy from the room.  

We’ve never used punishment, AND, at the same time, we also never hesitated to use the protective use of force to enforce important boundaries, like respecting other people’s property.  

Gentle parenting should never be unparenting. 🤦🏻‍♀️  I sure hope this is a fake scene, but I’ve witnessed nearly as bad. 🤪
