There are those in the Republican caucus who are fine with operating from the minority, and thus throw wrenches into the works consistently in order to maximize their own exposure. 

Those who are now pushing a "motion to vacate" against Johnson fall into this category. If they're going to oust Johnson they way they ousted McCarthy, they ought to at least be able to name a serious alternative who isn't named Hakeem Jeffries.
