Liberty Media Under Investigation by US Department of Justice Over F1 Team Snub

Liberty Media, owner of Formula One (F1), is being investigated by the US Department of Justice's Antitrust Division over its decision to deny Andretti Global a spot on the F1 grid. The investigation was revealed during an earnings call, where CEO Greg Maffei stated that Liberty Media will cooperate fully with the DOJ. Andretti Global had gained approval from the FIA, but F1 refused entry due to concerns about competitiveness and commercial value.
